Though the loss of the ten was an extremely difficult time, the "Remember the Ten" steering committee believes we have a solemn duty to archive the news reports of the crash itself. The investigation of the crash revealed difficiencies in safety practices and in common sense decision-making. Positive changes have been put in place by OSU and the NCAA to try to insure the safety of players and athletics department personnel who must rely on plane transportation and these practices extend to all NCAA-affiliated schools and universities.
